Spain
Spain is my second place I would like to go visit once I am done with school. People say the best time to go to Spain is in autumn or spring. I would like to go in July because that is summertime and I like the summer. I would like this trip to be like my present to myself for completing school and before I start to work that way, I had a get away from all the stress. There are so many places I would like to go see in Spain and to try some of there amazing food they have.
The first place I would like to see would be Madrid it is Spain central capital which is a city of elegant and known for its European art. They have this huge museum called Prado Museum that has artwork of Goya, Velazquez. Near by the museum is the Royal Palace and Armory that has displayed historic weapons.
Second place to visit would be the Retiro Park which is the largest park in the city of Madrid Spain. Back in the century that park belonged to the Spanish Monarchy but now it became a public park. The park is also filled with sculptures and fountains I can already see myself enjoying the sun and walking around the park.
Third place to visit would be la Basilica de la Sagrada Familia it is a large Roman Catholic Church. This church has been up for more than 135 year and they continue construction which is expected to be complete in 2026. Also, I heard that all the designs and colors and stones it is jaw dropping.
There are other places I would like to go see but if I visit these 3 places, I would be ok. Of course, I would go try the restaurants and coffee shop that are close by. Hopefully, my mother would like to join me on this trip it would be fun with out her. Also, Spain is well know for there sandy beaches and incredible landmarks.
Tornado
Being on this quarantine I have had more time to conversate with my parents. Some of there stories are crazy but one of them was interesting especially with tornado season around the corner. My mother sister used to live in a small town in Oklahoma where they always have tornado every year. So, like 20 year ago my aunt was enjoying her day like every other day. She had described the day as a calm, sunny day it did not even seem like it was going to rain.
Later in the afternoon the sky got cloudy and the sirens went off and as always there is a lot of people that ignore the waring. On the news they were saying the tornado was about 30 miles out and to take cover the huge monster was an EF4 with close to 180mph of wind. My parent will never forget this because they were some of people to go out and help pick up after the disaster. That tornado tore everything in its path ripping trees from the ground, pieces of residents scrambled miles out. My aunt house was destroyed the roof had come down on them while they sat in the middle of the house in the hallway. When my parents arrived in Oklahoma, they were so freight with all the damage they were seeing a child walking away from some destroyed homes. The child was asking for help because there was two people trapped underneath debris from there house. My parents pulled over to help them get out that was incredibly sad to hear. My mom says it different when you see all the damage in person than on the news that feeling when you realize in those moments that all that matter are the lives. So, my parent helped my aunt pick her remaining that were left and brought her to live with us until she everything resolved with insurances. Another thing that was nice that the community got together to rebuild the town back to how it was.
Friends
In the summer of 2010 was the first summer of just graduating Highschool. All my friends were excited because we were done with school and were planning on where to go to college. We were a group of 8 girls that had big plans. We wanted to travel the world and stay in touch for the rest of our life’s. One of my friends was working at a fast food place where she seemed to liked work there. She got along with everyone never seemed like anything bothered her. Nor did she have problems with anyone she never seemed stressed about anything.
One day on her lunch break she decided to drive out to the country by a lake and she lost control of her car and rolled over and hit a post. She was transferred to Wichita Ks to get medical treatment. She had severed injuries and as soon as she arrived, she had surgery, but it was too late for her she was gone. That was the first time I had lost a good friend it was so sad for her family and us.
After a few months, our group of friend’s kinds of went different ways. We all started hanging out with other people it was weird we acted like if we did not know each other. Which we would tell everything to each other we went to school together. Nothing was the same I know I still ask myself like what she was going through what was she doing out there in the middle of nowhere. I would always ask her how she was doing, and she would always say “I’m good better than never”. I wonder if she would still be alive would we still be all friends. I think it would be so much fun if we were all still friends maybe some of us would be living with each other. I just understand why we stopped talking to each other we see each other on social media but we can never comment on each other posts. Maybe one day we will talk to each other and we could be friends again only god knows why things happen for a reason.
Mexico Trip
My parent liked to go on vacation every summer to Mexico in a small town in Mexico called Las Varas. Most of our family our from Mexico and those were the time we enjoyed spending time with them. In Las Varas Mexico there is a population of 200 people so it’s a very small town. Everyone knew each other and comes together when needed. In the middle of the town runs a huge river that everyone likes to go play in since there aren’t any close pools. Over the river there was this bridge that was people used to cross over from one side to other side.
On a sunny day the town was quite when eventually we heard a loud noise like a humming noise. This noise kept getting louder and louder, everyone went outside to see where that noise was coming from. So, everyone starts walking to the river that was in the middle of the town. From far away we could see something so big and round, where I was standing the water was clear. No one expected what was coming toward us since it hasn’t rain in a long time. The noise kept getting closer and louder. Then we realize that it was big wave of muddy water. In that water there was trees floating in the river and animals. There was so much water and it kept overflowing the river. It was taking everything in its way also the bridge it got destroyed.
There were so many people injured and some unfortunately we taken by the river. Once the river had calmed down everyone seem scared, confused and didn’t know what to do. This was a disaster for them and had to clean up the mess. This was there town, and everyone came together and rebuilt homes that got destroyed and the bridge got rebuilt as well. The bridge was there only way to communicate with the other side. The folks that lived in this town will never forget that disaster and the good thing everyone came together and help each other.
Ice Storm
It was December 2019. My mother and I lived in Kansas City, Mo and love everything about the city except for snow and ice storms. We had grown up in south west Kansas and we weren’t very fond about the loads of snow especially since we lived in the country. We would always get stuck on dirty road due to being muddy or covered with snow and couldn’t really see where the road was at.
We had an ice storm, my mom and I decided to go to the stores. On our way to a store located in Grandview, Mo which was about 30 minutes away from the house. As we were driving everything seemed fine the road didn’t seem bad nor did we notice any ice on the roads. So, we kept on driving and got on the highway and still the roads were not bad. Until we went down a hill and our car spun out of control into the middle of the whole highway. Everything got quiet and seemed like we were going in slow motion for a while until we came to a complete stop. Once we stopped and realized we were facing the traffic that had stop while we had lost control. I had to think fast and turn the car around to back in the traffic lane.
As we were driving, we were trying to comprehend what had just happened, but we kept driving so we could get to the store as soon as possible. After 15 minutes of the last incident we came across another patch of black ice. You couldn’t see the ice but you sure could feel it and we were going down a hill again. “OMG” was all I was saying over and over until we finally made it down the hill. At this point we were regretting going out and wish we were home, but we made it to the store. We got what we went for to the store and decided to head back home. On our way back home was not bad at all but I decided to drive a lot slower took longer and we made it home safe and sound and didn’t crash the car.
Dream occupation
My dream since I was a little kid was to become a doctor. For Halloween I would dress up as a doctor or when I had dress up days. I keep telling myself it is never too late to become a doctor but first I would have to get into the nursing program. Then finish the nursing program and pass the boards then go from there. The positive thing about going to school at a young age is you have a head starts since medical school is 4 years. Then must complete a residency and then typically another four to seven years. To able to have a chance and become a doctor at a young age would be amazing. I want to work in the operating room with the surgeon where we would have an immediate impact on patients. Every day would be like it’s a gift to have the opportunity to care for patients in their most vulnerable times. Despite the stress long hours away from home and family I could never imagine a different career. To become a doctor, you would have to be driven spirit and committed to helping people. Doctors are grateful for the opportunity to care for others, proud of their ability to diagnosis and treat and inspired by the trust their patients put in them. I would like to be the first person the patient sees when they wake up from surgery. Doctors don’t really have a life you pretty much have to decided what compromises to make such as deciding if leaving work at 5pm is more important than staying late to operate on you patient who has a complication you created. Also, you would have to find partners you can trust with the lives of your patients. For a lot of surgeon’s fulfillment is measured by the satisfaction of knowing you made difference in someone’s life. The average for general surgeon works 50-60 hours per week and that is not counting being on call if possible. Having the adrenaline kick in in the operation room everyone being serious and concentrating on the patient vital sign making sure everything is running smooth. Many people would think I am crazy thinking this is a dream life working long hours always being stressful under the situation having to stay late at the last minute. Being called in on your day off spend less time with the family most people would think this is not a life. To me the work environment sounds so fascinating being able to help someone in need. Knowing that someone needed you, so they had to call you in. It is never to late to become a doctor or surgeon which this mean I must push myself closer to my goals.
I have always dreamed about going to Bora Bora. Hopefully one day I will have enough money saved up so I can go on vacation. Bora Bora is a paradise on earth it’s so famous for its turquoise lagoon, white sand, and its luxurious resorts. This beautiful island is located off the French Polynesia Leeward group of islands. Bora Bora has an extinct volcano right in the center and has two peaks named as Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia. Many tourist travel to this island every year and is the only island in the world which scores a perfect ten on the amazement scale by tourists. This island offers a sweet escape from our regular boring lives and great for some privacy and for lovebirds and honeymooners.
Some interesting historic fact about the island are the volcanic eruption, romantic island, Bora bora lagoon, snakes and pet free zone, dark pearls, hotel and resorts and many more amazing things.
The unique island was born out of a volcanic eruption around 4 million years ago. It remained uninhabited, desolate, and unknown for a long, long time until some people form the nearby Tongan island discovered it. The Tongan believe to be the first humans who ever set foot on the Bora Bora land since the volcanic eruption. It got an interesting name quite later and initially it was known as Vava’u.
Bora Bora is known for a romantic island because it offers the perfect privacy and solitude that is most craved by couple in love. Imagine being away from the big city and being in a gorgeous island where it is quiet and peaceful. This place is perfect for couples to spend time with each other. The island has private beaches and lagoons for couples. It is the ideal destination for love and that why it is called the romantic island. It also has coral reef’s shaped like heart’s north of the island. It is as if nature has crowned the island as the island of love.
The lagoon in Bora Bora has one opening pass into the ocean. That is the reason the lagoon offers a warm, safe and calm place to swim. The temperature averages around 28 degrees. The main form of transportation is by a boat small cruise ships also visit the island. They slowly navigate into the lagoon and anchor in the water after entering the lagoon because the port is not very big to accommodate a docking ship. Bora Bora is the favorite holiday destination for the ultra-rich people in the world and for the Hollywood celebrities. Many of them either rent a bungalow or even own one of the properties in the lovely island. Some come with their private beaches.
The fascinating thing about this island is that there are no pests or snakes. You can take a nap on the beach or between the lush greenery without worrying about snakes. Many people get the famous dark pearls as souvenirs. The dark pearls found on the island are rare and people bring it as a gift for their loved ones. Maybe I will be lucky enough and find Kim Kardashian earring that she lost at Bora Bora which was worth $75,000 dollars. Therefore, Bora Bora is the perfect paradise vacation.
When I was 16 or so we had moved into a house with my parents and sister. I had the bedroom upstairs. About a month after moving in I started notifying bizarre thing. Hangers would sway as though there was a wind, and I often saw lights turn on, unexplainable knocks in the middle of the night. It was creepy to go downstairs to the basement. I remember one day while I was playing on my laptop downstairs in the basement. A white mist shot out from behind the television up the wall and across the ceiling. I bolted out from the basement and told my mom who told me it was just my imagination. Over the next few months I started hearing knocks and seeing objects move again. Slowly it started getting stranger. Then whispers started, then painful screams soon it was happening every night without fail. Strange things kept happening in the house for as long as I can remember. One night I woke to the sound of someone standing just outside my room the floor creaking. I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep hoping it would leave me alone. Whatever it was entered the room and stopped right beside the bed. I could feel the presence there. I cracked open my eyes hoping to still appear asleep while stealing a glimpse at the presence. A white figure stood in front of me. At first, I wanted to call to my sister, but I was too afraid to confront the ghost. Eventually my eyes closed and when my eyes opened again a few minutes later the figure was gone. A few weeks went by and I wasn’t feeling well so I stayed home from work. I was in bed asleep on my back with a pillow over my face when I heard the door open. I was still half asleep, so I didn’t fully register the door being opened. Then I felt a pressure on my stomach like if someone was poking me with two fingers. I jumped and heard retreating footsteps but the pillow was still over my head so I couldn’t see who or what it was. The footsteps sounded more like a light taps then actual human footsteps. At first, I thought it was my mother coming home from lunch break. Then I checked my phone and realize it was 11:00am too early for my mom to be home. As I sat in my bed thinking exactly what had happened it began to settle in, and I started getting nervous. Suddenly the door opened. I ran from my room through a different door that leads outside and called my mom. She came home and we looked through the house together. While we were looking the door handle to a closet started to shake violently freaking the both of us. That night we told my father who at first didn’t believe us. He only started to after weird things started happening all over the house pans flying across the kitchen, stuff randomly falling from the walls and our dogs started freaking out for no apparent reason.

Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
